Solidity and IBM Hosted an Exclusive Networking Day in Kyiv
On May 27, 2026, an exclusive Networking Day organized by Solidity with the support of IBM took place in Kyiv. The event brought together banking sector professionals, data management experts, and representatives from leading technology companies.
The event served as a platform for open professional dialogue. Participants focused on digital transformation, modern approaches to big data management, financial security, and the new opportunities that the use of artificial intelligence opens up for business.
The meeting’s format was deliberately informal, allowing participants not only to listen to presentations but also to actively engage in discussions, share experiences in the field of data solutions, and establish new professional contacts.
Separately, the discussion touched on the topic of building a modern data infrastructure and leveraging cutting-edge technological solutions from the IBM ecosystem. In particular, participants discussed the role of watsonx.data in deploying analytical systems for banks, as well as approaches to using IBM Safer Payments for real-time transaction monitoring.
“I want to thank IBM for supporting this event with us today and for still being present in Ukraine,” said Serhii Sopronyuk, Head of the Anti-Fraud Department at Solidity. “Not just as a manufacturer sitting somewhere up in the clouds in an office, but for actually being here with us”.
Andrii Kuzmenko, IBM’s Lead Cybersecurity Specialist, also joined the opening remarks and discussion:
